Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, in close coordination with relevant Egyptian institutions, has been actively monitoring the progress of delivering Saudi assistance to the Palestinian people through the Rafah border crossing.
In a statement issued from the Rafah crossing, Ambassador Nugali announced the arrival of the seventh plane as part of the Saudi airlift at Al-Arish Airport. He highlighted that this humanitarian effort is a direct result of the directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This underscores the Kingdom's enduring historical commitment to assisting Palestinians both politically and at the humanitarian level, significantly contributing to alleviating the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people.
Ambassador Nugali disclosed that the volume of relief assistance provided by the Kingdom currently stands at around 250 tons. Anticipating further impact, he indicated that this volume is expected to double in the coming days as additional shipments are dispatched by sea. He reiterated the Kingdom's dedication to ensuring that the relief assistance reaches those affected within the Gaza Strip, underscoring the commitment to providing timely and effective aid to those in need.
