Saudi Ambassador Presents Credentials to South Africa Vice President

Pretoria, August 24, 2024 – In a formal and significant diplomatic meeting held today in Pretoria, South African Vice President Paul Mashatile welcomed Faisal bin Falah Al-Harbi, the newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to South Africa. This meeting marked the official presentation of the ambassador’s credentials, an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.


During the ceremony, Ambassador Al-Harbi conveyed warm greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. The ambassador extended the Kingdom’s heartfelt wishes for South Africa’s continued progress and prosperity, underscoring the mutual respect and shared commitment to enhancing the relationship between the two countries.



Vice President Mashatile, in response, acknowledged the robust state of relations between South Africa and Saudi Arabia. He expressed his government’s keen interest in expanding cooperation across various sectors.
