Muscat, November 15, 2024: In a significant diplomatic gesture, Saudi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, presented his credentials to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq at Al Baraka Palace on Thursday. The formal presentation marks the beginning of Ambassador bin Bishan’s tenure in Oman, further solidifying the strong ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, Sultan Haitham praised the long-standing and historic relationship between the two nations, highlighting the continuous development of bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including trade, culture, and regional stability. He emphasized the importance of strengthening these ties in the future to ensure mutual prosperity and shared goals.
Ambassador bin Bishan conveyed the warm greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Sultan of Oman. He also expressed the Kingdom's best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of the Omani people, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to further enhancing relations with Oman.
