Saudi ambassador to Iran starts formal duties in Tehran

Tehran, September 05, 2023, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, the Saudi ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Tehran today to begin his formal duties. As soon as he arrived in Tehran, Ambassador Al-Anzi reaffirmed the wise leadership's directions regarding the necessity to "intensify communication and meetings between the Kingdom and Iran" and "enhance relations between the Kingdom and Iran. Additionally, the leadership has encouraged "expanding Saudi-Iranian relations towards broader horizons," Al-Anzi continued. Both the Kingdom and Iran are neighboring countries with abundant natural resources, economic resources, and advantages that contribute to enhancing development, prosperity, stability, and security in the region," the ambassador declared. According to Al-Anzi, this improvement in ties would be advantageous to both countries and their populations.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, announced Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which he said is a blueprint that covers all areas in which both countries may strengthen their collaboration.

Al-Anzi emphasized that the two nations will promote collaboration within a strategic framework that emphasizes the fundamentals of friendly relations, mutual respect, and understanding. Additionally, this strategy would increase trust between the two nations.
