Oslo, December 15, 2023, In a significant diplomatic encounter, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah engaged in discussions today with his Norwegian counterpart, Espen Barth Eide. This meeting took place as part of the visit by the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit to Oslo.
The focal point of the discussions was the exploration of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Norway, with both foreign ministers deliberating on strategies to enhance collaboration across various fields. Additionally, the ministers addressed recent developments in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgency of implementing a ceasefire. The imperative need to establish secure relief corridors for the efficient delivery of humanitarian, food, and medical aid to Gaza was also a key point of discussion.
