Saudi Anime' Asateer2: Future's Folktales' Premieres in Tokyo Amidst Japanese Media Celebration

Premiere Celebration: Manga Productions celebrated the launch of the second season of Future's Folktales in Tokyo, attracting global industry leaders, media professionals, and Arab ambassadors, showcasing the series' appeal and cultural significance.

Tokyo, November 2, 2024 — In a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity, Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), marked the premiere of the highly anticipated second season of its anime series Future's Folktales in Tokyo, Japan. The event attracted a distinguished audience, including prominent figures from global Japanese companies, esteemed media professionals, and Arab ambassadors stationed in Japan, all of whom were captivated by the series' unique storytelling.


The premiere received extensive media attention, highlighted by a special segment on World Business Satellite, a leading economic news program in Japan. This coverage, alongside reports from various media outlets focused on creativity, culture, and economics, underscored the significance of the event within the broader context of international cultural exchange.


Dr. Essam Bukhary, CEO of Manga Productions, expressed his enthusiasm for sharing the series with global audiences. "We are delighted to bring our inspiring Arabian stories and culture to Japan and the world," he stated. The second season of Future's Folktales is set to reach audiences across multiple platforms. In the Middle East and North Africa, it will air on Shahid and MBC1 every Friday at 5:00 PM KSA time, beginning November 1, 2024. In Japan, the series will be available on TV Tokyo every Sunday at 7:00 AM, starting November 3, 2024. This global rollout represents a significant milestone in the growing accessibility of Arab content, showcasing Manga Productions' commitment to promoting Saudi culture and creativity on the world stage.
