Saudi Arabia and CARICOM discuss collaboration at Riyadh summit sidelines

Riyadh, November 17, 2023, In a notable development, Saudi Arabia and the CARICOM (Caribbean Community) countries engaged in a roundtable discussion last Thursday, held on the sidelines of the Saudi-CARICOM Summit in Riyadh. Key figures present at the Saudi-CARICOM Roundtable Meeting included Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, and Ahmad Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism.


Joining the conversation were other prominent ministers, including Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, and Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. The meeting unfolded concurrently with the ongoing summit hosted by Saudi Arabia, designed to bolster relations with CARICOM member states. The overarching objective of the summit is to explore collaborative avenues that can fortify national economies and stimulate growth and development across diverse sectors.
