The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS) have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster collaboration in marine environmental protection. The agreement outlines cooperative efforts in areas such as marine environment preservation, climate change science, biodiversity safety, and pollution reduction in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. Both parties will establish a joint working group to facilitate ongoing consultations and develop measures to enhance cooperation in these vital fields.
