Riyadh, 10 May 2024: During his African tour, the Environment, Water, and Agriculture Minister Eng. Sen. Abubakar Kyari, the Nigerian Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, held talks with Abdulrahman Alfadley and his delegation. The main topics of discussion during their meetings were ways to improve trade and economic cooperation between the two nations as well as investment opportunities in the food security and agriculture sectors.
The meeting's main topic was cooperation across a variety of industries, with an emphasis on partnerships in agriculture and food security. Discussions about potential investments, available agricultural resources, and food products were covered during the meeting.
Notably, Saudi Arabia hosted the Saudi-African Summit in November 2023 with the intention of fostering ties and encouraging cooperative efforts between the Kingdom and African states.
