According to the National Center for Meteorology, various regions in Saudi Arabia are expected to experience weather phenomena such as rain, hailstorms, dust-stirring winds, and specific wind patterns in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf:
- Moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by hailstorms, is forecasted for parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region. These areas may also experience dust-stirring winds.
- Light to moderate rain is expected in the western parts of the Northern Borders Region.
- Northerly to northwesterly winds are anticipated over the Red Sea, with speeds ranging from 15-35 km/h in the northern part and 20-40 km/h in the central part. In the southern part, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, with speeds of 15-50 km/h.
- Wave heights in the Red Sea will range from one to two meters in the central part and from half a meter to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.
- Over the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to easterly in the northern part at speeds of 20-40 km/h, while in the southern part, they will be westerly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 20-45 km/h. Wave heights will range from one to two and a half meters, with sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.
