
Nasib Border Crossing, January 27, 2025 – In a continued effort to support the Syrian people during their ongoing humanitarian crisis, fifty-four Saudi relief trucks crossed the Nasib Border Crossing into the Syrian Arab Republic today. This convoy is part of the Saudi humanitarian land bridge initiative, which is operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), a key entity leading Saudi Arabia’s global relief efforts.
The convoy, loaded with critical supplies such as food, shelter, and medical aid, is aimed at addressing the pressing needs of the Syrian people, who have been severely affected by years of conflict. The humanitarian mission reflects Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to offering assistance to those in crisis, reinforcing the Kingdom’s role as a leader in international relief efforts.
As of today, a total of 60 trucks have entered Syria as part of the Saudi land bridge operation. In addition to these trucks, 13 relief planes have also arrived at Damascus International Airport, further boosting Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian air bridge initiative. The airlift operation is focused on delivering crucial supplies that complement the ongoing land convoys, providing a comprehensive approach to addressing Syria’s needs.
