RIYADH, March 27, 2025 — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' bombing of the Syrian town of Koya, which resulted in numerous casualties.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s firm rejection of Israel’s continued violations, which threaten Syria’s security and regional stability, in clear defiance of international laws.
Saudi Arabia expressed its solidarity with Syria against this unjustified aggression, calling on UN Security Council member states to take decisive action against these ongoing Israeli violations and activate mechanisms for international accountability.
At least seven people were killed in the latest Israeli attack on Koya, located west of Deraa, adding to a series of recent strikes on Syria.
