RIYADH April 4, 2025 — Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned recent Israeli actions in Jerusalem and Gaza, denouncing what it called flagrant violations of international law and humanitarian principles.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, the Kingdom condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israel’s Minister of National Security, an act carried out under the protection of Israeli police forces, followed by the expulsion of worshippers from the site.

The Foreign Ministry reiterated Saudi Arabia’s firm denunciation of what it termed ongoing and blatant violations of the sanctity of one of Islam’s holiest sites.

The Kingdom also condemned Israeli occupation forces for attacking a clinic run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The statement expressed deep concern over the persistent targeting of UN agencies, humanitarian organizations, and aid workers in Palestinian territories.

“The Kingdom firmly rejects any actions that undermine the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites,” the statement read.

It called for urgent international measures to protect UN institutions and personnel, and to end what it described as the Israeli “war machine,” which continues to operate with total disregard for humanitarian values and established international standards.

The Foreign Ministry stressed the need for the global community to hold Israeli authorities accountable for their actions, warning that continued violations would erode the credibility of international law and hinder the prospects for peace in the region.

“The failure of the international community to address these violations jeopardizes regional and global security and stability,” the statement concluded.
