Saudi Arabia ends West Asia Para Games with 55 medals triumph

Sharjah, February 2, 2024, Today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wrapped up its involvement in the fourth annual West Asia Para Games in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), taking home 55 medals (17 gold, 23 silver, and 15 bronze). The teams competing in wheelchair basketball, goalball, and table tennis ended the seven-day competition with three medals each on Friday.

The Kingdom moved up to third place in the overall West Asian Paralympic rankings because to the 55 medals that the Saudi Paralympic teams earned in Sharjah.

The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon were among the eleven nations that took part in Sharjah.

At the West Asia Para Games, Iraq won first, followed by the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
