Kranj, February 05, 2024, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is actively participating in the Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI), a significant event organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia. Held on February 5 and 6 in the city of Kranj, the forum revolves around the theme "Changing the Landscape of AI Governance."
This forum has drawn participation from numerous countries, with representation from technology ministers and AI authorities. Leading the representation for Saudi Arabia is Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
During the event, Dr. Al-Ghamdi was actively engaged in a closed consultation session focusing on the interim report of the UN Secretary-General's AI advisory body.
