Saudi Arabia Hosts 68th ACAO Executive Council Meeting on Civil Aviation

Represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Saudi Arabia played host to the 68th meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO). Presided over by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of GACA, and chaired by Haitham Misto, Chairman of the ACAO Executive Council, the meeting brought together leaders and directors from civil aviation authorities across member states.


Chairman Misto expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for hosting the meeting and acknowledged the Kingdom's efforts in fostering collaborative initiatives. He also thanked other Arab states for their support in achieving ACAO's objectives in safety, sustainability, and aviation efficiency.


In response, Al-Duailej extended his appreciation to the representatives of member states for their collective efforts in advancing the civil aviation industry in the Arab region. The meeting delved into various topics related to the regional and international aspects of the Arab civil aviation industry, emphasizing sector enhancement, and addressed technical issues concerning air cargo, aviation safety, and environmental considerations.
