Riyadh, September 17, 2023, Saudi Arabia's participation in Expo 2023 Doha for Horticulture was declared as a way for the country to demonstrate its commitment to addressing environmental issues. The subject of Expo 2023 Doha for Horticulture is "Green Desert, Better Environment," and it aims to educate and inspire people about innovative ways to slow down and prevent desertification. Saudi Arabia's involvement at the Expo stems from its efforts and contributions to achieving environmental sustainability through the ambitious Vision 2030 programs, according to Saleh Bindakhil, Head Director of Saudi Arabia's participation. He further stated that Saudi Arabia would launch numerous efforts, including the Saudi Green and Middle East Green projects, in an effort to lead the next green age. These ideas play a part in building a sustainable future for everyone, ensuring food security, and raising standards of living. Additionally, according to Bindakhil, Saudi Arabia wants to transition to a circular economic model in several ways for a sustainable environment.
