Riyadh, August 29, 2023, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, minister of industry and mineral resources, noted that Saudi Arabia has started a number of initiatives and programs to carry out the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. According to Minister Al-Khorayef, these initiatives increase the investment attractiveness for Turkish investors across a variety of future industries that the Kingdom has targeted for its economic growth. The minister made these comments while on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey. He was speaking at an investment roundtable that TOBB, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, had organized. According to Al-Khorayef, the Kingdom is poised to become a top location for Turkish investors given its economic stature. He claimed that Saudi Vision 2030, a plan to transform the Saudi economy and reduce its reliance on oil while utilizing the Kingdom's advantageous geographic location to create a regional economic powerhouse, had increased this. He made it clear that the Kingdom's National Industrial Strategy (NIS), which fully embraces the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its diverse applications, is focused on constructing contemporary infrastructure that utilizes cutting-edge technologies.
The minister highlighted that this also promotes industrial investments capable of long-term global competitiveness, such as 3D printing and artificial intelligence (AI). Al-Khorayef invited the Turkish investors to learn more about the possibilities and prospects the Kingdom offers for foreign investments as he concluded his speech. In order to help them realize their goals and the Kingdom's ambitions in the industrial and mining sectors, he further urged them to carefully choose opportunities that fit their capacities and interests.
