Montreal, Canada, October 24, 2023, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), actively engaged in the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) Security Week 2023 at the organization's headquarters in Montreal, Canada. Leading the Kingdom's delegation was GACA's Assistant President for Aviation Security, Mohammad Bin Saad Al-Fouzan.
Saudi Arabia's involvement in this significant event is driven by the objective of fostering the exchange of knowledge on civil aviation cyber security with participating nations. Additionally, it seeks to cultivate skills and tools that can bolster civil aviation security.
The opening session of the 2023 Security Week saw the Kingdom's permanent representative to the ICAO, Bader bin Saleh Alsagri, in attendance. Alsagri, during his address, emphasized the need for intensified international collaboration to safeguard global air cargo networks from advanced threats.
