Saudi Arabia Participates in Padel and Jiu-Jitsu Events at Nad Al Sheba Tournament in UAE

Riyadh, March 21, 2025, The Padel Teams Championship competitions began on March 20, 2025, as part of the 12th edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, held annually during the holy month of Ramadan at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai.


Athletes from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Australia, and the Netherlands are competing in the tournament. The preliminary rounds, or group stage, started yesterday and will continue until Wednesday.


Additionally, the Jiu-Jitsu Championship competitions will begin tomorrow in the main hall of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.


The tournament, launched and sponsored by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, includes 11 different championships with broad international participation. The organizing committee announced an increase in the total prize pool for the winning athletes in the tournament’s 12th edition, now totaling 4.5 million dirhams. The total prizes across all 11 championships exceed 4 million dirhams.
