Cairo, January 24, 2025 — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance is proudly participating in the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, a major cultural event running from January 23 to February 5, which brings together 1,345 publishers from 80 countries. This year, the Ministry’s pavilion at the prestigious fair offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s deep commitment to Islamic heritage, education, and the global dissemination of the Holy Quran.

One of the standout features of the Ministry's pavilion is a dedicated section focused on the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex. This specialized exhibit showcases a broad range of Quran copies, translations in numerous languages, and highlights the complex and meticulous process involved in printing the Holy Quran. Visitors can explore the various stages of Quran printing, offering a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the advanced technology and precision employed by the Kingdom to ensure that the Quran is preserved in its original form and is made accessible to Muslims worldwide.

The pavilion also emphasizes the Kingdom’s commitment to making the Quran available to the broader Muslim community, offering thousands of Quran copies in various sizes as gifts to fairgoers. This initiative underlines Saudi Arabia’s dedication to fostering global access to the Holy Quran. Additionally, the pavilion features a variety of the Ministry’s digital programs and applications, designed to facilitate Quranic study and provide resources to users across the globe.

A particularly enriching part of the exhibition is the display of rare historical Islamic manuscripts, which offer visitors a look into the rich intellectual tradition of the Islamic world. These manuscripts provide insight into the preservation and advancement of Islamic thought, showcasing the Kingdom’s pivotal role in maintaining and sharing Islamic scholarship.

Through its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance not only celebrates the Kingdom’s heritage but also furthers its mission to support the global Islamic community, preserving the Holy Quran and Islamic knowledge for future generations. This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing dedication to promoting religious, educational, and cultural cooperation on a global scale.
