Riyadh, August 2, 2023, In a highly anticipated event, the draw for the 1st West Asian Youth Volleyball Championship has taken place, revealing the composition of the groups for the U19 national teams. The Saudi team, known for their exceptional talent, has been placed in Group A, where they will face off against formidable opponents including Qatar, Jordan, and Lebanon. This thrilling lineup promises intense competition and sets the stage for an exhilarating tournament. In an intriguing turn of events, Bahrain, Kuwait, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates have found themselves grouped together in Group B. Jeddah, the vibrant city in Saudi Arabia, is set to become the prestigious host of the upcoming Championship, scheduled to take place from August 15th to 25th. In an ongoing pursuit of excellence, the Saudi U19 national team is diligently honing their skills through rigorous training sessions in the picturesque city of Yalova, Turkey. Led by the experienced Serbian coach Zdenko, the team is fully committed to maximizing their potential during their overseas camp. With a meticulous schedule, the young athletes engage in two training periods each day, one in the morning and another in the evening. This dedicated approach underscores the team's unwavering determination to achieve their goals and represents a crucial step in their development as future football stars. In a display of unity and commitment, all players took part in the rigorous training sessions. The training camp, which served as a crucial evaluation period, featured a series of friendly matches aimed at identifying the most suitable squad.
