Riyadh, August 23, 2023, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, will lead the delegation representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial Meeting, which will take place in Jaipur, India, on August 24 and 25. The World Trade Organization (WTO) reforms, trade for growth and prosperity, trade logistics, trade and global value chains, and the integration of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises into global trade will all be topics of discussion at tomorrow's meeting, which will include participation from relevant ministers from the G20 and invited nations. Al-Qasabi will have many bilateral meetings with counterparts from the G20 and invited nations, as well as with officials of international organizations, on the sidelines of the event to discuss a number of crucial issues. In an effort to create a robust and developing global economy, review the need for a more flexible and inclusive trading system, and make global value chains work for inclusive, flexible, and sustainable development after a decade of recession, India is hosting the group under the theme "One Land, One Family, One Future" this year.
