Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's proactive stance and contributions to environmental protection and climate-change initiatives, aligning with the goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Duailej delivered these remarks during his opening speech at the third annual Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels (CAAF/3) hosted by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Leading the Saudi Arabian delegation, he emphasized the Kingdom's dedication to environmental preservation.
The conference, taking place from November 20 to 24, serves as a platform for discussions on aviation and alternative fuels. Al-Duailej emphasized Saudi Arabia's prominent role in environmental protection, both through active participation in organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and through engagements with other relevant entities.
Saudi Arabia's commitment to sustainable practices and its efforts to combat climate change demonstrate its commitment to global environmental initiatives. By actively engaging in conferences like CAAF/3, the Kingdom aims to contribute to the development and implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in the aviation industry.
