Riyadh, February 19, 2024, According to the National Center for Meteorology, the weather forecast for various regions in Saudi Arabia includes light rain and brisk winds in parts of Al-Jouf and the Northern Borders, with the possibility of fog formation in these areas.
Dust-stirring winds are expected in parts of Riyadh and Najran, extending to the eastern parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, as well as to parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk.
Over the Red Sea, northerly to northwesterly winds are anticipated, reaching speeds of 20-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and 15-30 km/h in the southern part. Waves in the northern and central parts will range from one and a half to two and a half meters, while in the southern part, they will be from one meter to one and a half meters. The sea is expected to be relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, northerly to northwesterly winds are forecasted, reaching speeds of 15-30 km/h in the northern part and 20-45 km/h in the central and southern parts. Waves in the northern part will range from one to one and a half meters, while in the central and southern parts, they will be from one and a half to two and a half meters. The sea is expected to be relatively calm to choppy.
