Saudi Arabia Secures Hosting Rights for World Expo 2030

In a historic achievement, Saudi Arabia has won the bid to host World Expo 2030, following a secret ballot at the 173rd General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris. Riyadh received endorsements from 119 countries, surpassing competitors Busan, South Korea, and Rome, Italy.

The selection aligns with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's vision, marking a significant milestone for Saudi Vision 2030's developmental, economic, and social objectives. World Expo 2030 underscores the Kingdom's global role in knowledge, science, technology, and innovation.

The expo, scheduled from October 2030 to March 2031, will spotlight Saudi Arabia's cultural and social values, reflecting its citizens' uniqueness, rich history, and societal principles. This victory solidifies Saudi Arabia's international influence and establishes it as a premier host for global forums.
