Saudi Arabia Sends Sixth Relief Plane to Lebanon


Riyadh, October 18, 2024 – A sixth Saudi relief plane carrying essential food, medical supplies, and shelter aid departed from Riyadh today, bound for Beirut, Lebanon. This mission is part of the ongoing Saudi air bridge, which is being coordinated and operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The latest flight marks another step in Saudi Arabia’s sustained efforts to provide much-needed humanitarian support to the people of Lebanon during their ongoing crisis.


This aid initiative is being carried out under the direct directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Saudi leadership has committed to offering continued assistance to the Lebanese people, underscoring the Kingdom’s dedication to helping its regional neighbors in times of need.


The Saudi air bridge has been a lifeline for Lebanon, delivering crucial resources such as food aid, medical equipment, and shelter for those affected by the crisis.
