Riyadh, April 5, 2025 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel's escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the ongoing targeting of unarmed civilians and their shelters, resulting in numerous casualties, particularly the attack on Dar Al-Arqam School, which shelters displaced people in Gaza.
The Kingdom also denounced the destruction by Israeli forces of a warehouse owned by the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage in the Morag area, east of Rafah, along with the medical supplies it contained, which were meant to aid the sick and injured in Gaza.
The ministry emphasized that the lack of international accountability mechanisms has allowed Israeli violence and destruction to continue, further violating international law and humanitarian principles. It also stated that this ongoing impunity exacerbates Israeli aggression, jeopardizing regional and global security and stability.
The Kingdom reiterated the critical importance of Security Council members fulfilling their role in ending the suffering of the Palestinian people.
