Riyadh, January 29, 2024, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to be the guest of honor at the New Delhi World Book Fair, taking place from February 10 to 18. The Saudi participation will provide the Indian public with a comprehensive cultural experience led by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, alongside various cultural entities such as the Heritage Commission, the Music Commission, the Film Commission, the Culinary Arts Commission, the Fashion Commission, and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives.
The Kingdom's involvement will feature seminars and dialogue sessions covering various aspects of the cultural, artistic, and literary fields in Saudi Arabia, serving to highlight the rich heritage, culture, and arts of the Kingdom. Additionally, two pavilions at the fair will showcase Saudi cuisine and traditional performing arts.
Deep-rooted historical relations between Saudi Arabia and India form the backdrop for this cultural exchange, with the Kingdom's participation reflecting a commitment to furthering international cultural exchange in alignment with Vision 2030, the Kingdom's strategic framework for economic diversification and global cultural engagement.
