Riyadh, November 20, 2023, Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee, the first edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) is set to take place on February 28-29, 2024, at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh. As a key component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Realization Programs, HCI will convene over 6000 experts, decision-makers, and more than 150 international keynote speakers to explore impactful dialogues, create synergies, and seize opportunities for human capability development worldwide.
Under the theme "Future Readiness," HCI aims to strengthen the human capability development ecosystem, promote innovative policy design, and showcase success stories that demonstrate the impact of human capability development on economic growth. The initiative will foster international collaboration, enrich global dialogue, and contribute to a sustainable global agenda for human capabilities across all age groups.
Minister of Education and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program, Yousef Al-Benyan, emphasized that HCI is a groundbreaking global platform to catalyze international collaboration, discuss challenges in human capabilities development, and address the skills required in the future global labor market. The conference will focus on the impact of rapid developments in digital and economic fields on human capabilities.
