The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has secured the privilege of hosting the 21st session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Riyadh, scheduled for November 2025. This decision was reached through unanimous acclamation by the 172 members of the Vienna-based organization during the 20th session held in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, led the official Saudi delegation at the conference and expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their unwavering support to the ministry and the industrial sector.
