Riyadh, December 19, 2023, During the 40th meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers for Housing and Reconstruction (CAMHR) held in Tripoli, Libya, a decision was issued to restructure the Executive Office under the presidency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the years 2024-2025. The meeting also saw the selection of the president, deputy president, and members of the Executive Office of the Council.
The decision to entrust Saudi Arabia with the leadership of the Executive Office reflects the Kingdom's continuous dedication to enhancing collaboration among Arab nations in the fields of housing and reconstruction. This engagement emphasizes the importance of addressing shared concerns and relevant topics to foster development and progress in member states.
Leading the Kingdom's delegation at the meeting was Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Taweel, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing for the Agency for Stimulating Housing Supply and Real Estate Development. The Saudi delegation actively participated in discussions that aimed to strengthen collective efforts in the vital areas of housing and reconstruction.
