Saudi Arabian Scouts Association delegation joins World Day for Cultural Diversity activities

India, January 23, 2024, The delegation of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is actively participating in the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, which is part of the Republic Day Camp (RDC) activities. The RDC is being held in India as part of the nation's celebrations for its 75th year of independence. The overarching theme of the event is "One Earth, One Family, One Future," and the activities are scheduled to continue until January 29, 2023.

As part of their involvement, the Scouts Association delegation showcased various events that highlighted Saudi hospitality. This included the serving of Saudi coffee and presentation of local popular dishes. Additionally, the delegation organized an exhibition featuring men's formal attire from different regions of Saudi Arabia, offering a glimpse into the cultural diversity within the Kingdom. Scouts distributed containers containing presentations on development, traditions, customs, and models of popular folklore from Saudi Arabia.

A notable aspect of the delegation's participation was a photo exhibition showcasing the Saudi scouts' impactful work in community service. This included their service to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and contributions to environmental initiatives. The exhibition received positive feedback from participants and visitors, contributing to the cultural exchange and dialogue fostered by the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
