Riyadh, November 05, 2023, Ali Abu Al-Makarem, a member of the Saudi bodybuilding team, clinched the bronze medal in the "85 kg bodybuilding" division at the ongoing World Bodybuilding Championship in Santa Susanna, Spain. In the same category, his teammate Ramadan Hawsawi secured the fourth position.
In the "Muscular Physique" category, Hattan Bukhari previously earned the bronze medal, securing the third position on a global scale. His fellow athlete Naif Al-Basha secured the sixth position in the same category. Notably, on the competition's second day, Hamdan Al-Ghamdi achieved the gold medal in the "Muscular Physique" category. Simultaneously, Saad Hashem claimed the fourth position, and Ibrahim Al-Najem secured the sixth position in the same category.
Saudi Arabia's success continued on the tournament's third day, with Ramadan Hawsawi securing the gold medal in his category, while his teammate Majed Abu Al-Rahi attained the fifth position.
