Riyadh, December 13, 2023, Saudi Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, along with Kingdom of Thailand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Parnpree Bahiddha, inaugurated the "Thailand Mega Fair 2023" in Riyadh. The event, attended by Thai Minister of Labor Phipat Ratchakitprakarn and Thai Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Darm Boontham, aims to showcase distinctive and innovative Thai products and services across various industries and sectors.
During the inauguration, Dr. Al-Qasabi, accompanied by the Thai deputy prime minister, toured the exhibition. The fair is a significant step toward fostering economic diversification and trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Thailand. The Saudi minister emphasized that the event represents a demonstration of strong relations and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly nations. He expressed the aspiration to continue joint efforts to promote and facilitate trade and investment, providing opportunities for the business sector.
Dr. Al-Qasabi highlighted that bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Thailand are experiencing significant development, particularly in economic aspects.
