Their discussions encompassed the strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, focusing on military and defense cooperation, along with avenues for their further enhancement.
The military escalation in Gaza and its environs also featured in their talks, with a consideration of international efforts to address the situation. Prince Khalid emphasized the importance of de-escalating the tensions in Gaza.
The meeting saw the presence of key officials, including Prince Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, and Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, the Vice Minister of Defense, in addition to the accompanying delegation of the UK Secretary of State for Defence.
