Riyadh, September 11, 2023, The Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has spoken on the phone with Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, expressed their greetings to the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and the members of the Council during the phone call, along with their hopes for Yemen's security, stability, and prosperity. The leader of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia received greetings from the chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council.
The two parties discussed the most recent events in Yemen and assessed the bilateral ties between their two friendly nations.
The Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council continues to have the support of the Kingdom, which, according to the Minister of Defense, is always eager to assist all initiatives aimed at finding a comprehensive political solution to the country's dilemma that will bring about security and stability for Yemen and its hospitable people.
