Riyadh, April 12, 2025, Saudi Electronic University launched the sports technology business accelerator initiative today, on the sidelines of the Sports Investment Forum, marking a step forward in fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurship in the sports sector.


 The initiative aims to support and empower entrepreneurs and innovators in the sports and technology sectors in alignment with the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030. It also seeks to build a diversified, knowledge-based economy, enhance the quality of life, and stimulate entrepreneurship in this growing field by providing an enabling environment that combines hands-on training, professional mentoring, and connections with investment entities.


 The initiative will help transform innovative ideas into scalable and sustainable sports tech projects, focusing on vital sectors, foremost among them sports and technology. Twenty startups will be selected to receive training, mentorship, and financial support. The university called on all those interested in technology, sports, and entrepreneurship to participate, register, and take advantage of the opportunities for support and empowerment offered by this ambitious initiative to help shape the future of smart sports in the Kingdom.
