Saudi Embassy Concludes Quran Memorization Competition in Islamabad

Islamabad, December 1, 2023 - The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy, concluded the Holy Quran memorization competition for female students from Salafia University in Islamabad, Pakistan.


A total of 350 male students participated in the Holy Quran memorization competition, with 80 selected as winners. Additionally, 400 female students participated in the cultural competition.


During the closing ceremony, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki expressed gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their services to Islam and Muslims worldwide. The competition highlighted the commitment to fostering Islamic education and cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
