Saudi Embassy in France hosts seminar on Saudi women's empowerment

Paris, March 09, 2024, The Saudi Embassy in the French Republic organized a seminar entitled "The Empowerment of Saudi Women and their Achievements in Light of the Saudi Vision 2030" in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

Distinguished figures such as Dr. Huda Al-Halisi, a member of the Shura Council, Sara Faisal, a board member of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, and Amelia Lakrafi, Chairperson of the French-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the French parliament, were among the notable participants.

In her opening remarks, Saudi Ambassador to France Fatima Al-Ruwaili provided insights into the significant attention given by the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the advancement of Saudi women, along with the remarkable achievements and progress made under the ambit of the Saudi Vision 2030.

The seminar attracted the presence of several French female diplomats, lawmakers, representatives from women's organizations, and prominent French women, showcasing the cross-cultural exchange and collaboration on matters pertinent to women's empowerment.
