Ottawa, September 28, 2023, The Saudi Arabian embassy in Ottawa commemorated the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom, hosting an event attended by dignitaries from the Canadian government and Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony, held at the National Arts Center in the Canadian capital, saw the participation of accredited diplomatic mission leaders, embassy staff, Saudi citizens, and scholarship students.
Canadian Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen expressed his country's enduring relationship with Saudi Arabia and commended Saudi Vision 2030 as an ambitious and commendable roadmap for the nation's development. Additionally, Rob Oliphant, the Parliamentary Secretary to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, lauded Saudi Arabia's constructive role in crisis resolution.
Oliphant also conveyed the Canadian business sector's eagerness to engage in investment opportunities presented by Saudi Vision 2030. Mohammed bin Fouad Jastaniah, the deputy head of the Saudi diplomatic mission in Canada, provided an overview of the accomplishments achieved under the national vision during the event.
