Islamabad, March 15, 2024, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, operating through the religious attaché of the Saudi embassy in Pakistan, inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program, aimed at disseminating premium dates across the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The event unfolded at the Saudi embassy premises in Islamabad, graced by the esteemed presence of the Saudi ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, alongside the religious attaché in Pakistan, Yahya Sufiani.
Ambassador Al-Maliki elucidated that this auspicious program aligns with a series of initiatives directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, slated for implementation during the sacred month of Ramadan in numerous countries, Pakistan included. He emphasized the meticulous oversight of Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in steering these efforts.
"This initiative entails the distribution of 10 tons of premium dates, translating to 30,000 individual gifts," Ambassador Al-Malki elaborated. "These offerings epitomize the enduring bonds of brotherhood and goodwill shared between the people of Saudi Arabia, its government, and its sagacious leadership, and the people of Pakistan.
