The highly anticipated Saudi Equestrian Federation Cup for Show Jumping, a three-star category event, is all set to commence today, Thursday. The prestigious competition will witness the participation of 130 talented riders from 18 countries, both male and female, as they vie for victory at the renowned Jump Saudi arena in Janadriyah, Riyadh.
The tournament comprises 13 thrilling rounds, with a special emphasis on four rounds dedicated to the youth category (under 21 years old) and the junior category (under 18 years old). To ensure the welfare of the horses, all participating equines underwent comprehensive examinations conducted by the diligent veterinary committee.
This event serves as the third international championship organized by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation this season. It follows the immensely successful conclusion of the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Jahez Show Jumping League, further solidifying Saudi Arabia's position in the global equestrian community.
In addition to the Saudi Equestrian Federation Cup, the federation is eagerly preparing to host the esteemed Jump Saudi International Show Jumping Championship in the "4-5 stars" category. This prestigious championship has gained significant recognition in the past, attracting top-tier riders from around the world.
