Riyadh, November 23, 2023, The Saudi Equestrian Federation Cup for Show Jumping, a highly anticipated three-star category event, is set to commence today, Thursday. The competition will showcase the talents of 130 male and female riders representing 18 countries as they compete in the show jumping tournament at the renowned Jump Saudi arena in Janadriyah, Riyadh.
The tournament comprises 13 rounds, with a special emphasis on four rounds dedicated to the youth category (under 21 years old) and the junior category (under 18 years old). To ensure the well-being of the participating horses, thorough examinations were conducted by the veterinary committee prior to the commencement of the event.
This marks the third international championship organized by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation this season, following the successful conclusion of the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Jahez Show Jumping League. Looking ahead, the federation is gearing up to host the prestigious Jump Saudi International Show Jumping Championship in the "4-5 stars" category, known for attracting elite riders from around the world. The championship has garnered notable success in the past, further solidifying Saudi Arabia's position on the global equestrian stage.
