Riyadh, October 24, 2023, The Saudi-European Investment Forum drew to a close today, featuring the participation of prominent figures including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Transport and Logistics Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic, Special Representative of the EU for the Gulf Region Luigi Di Maio, high-ranking officials from both Saudi Arabia and European Union countries, and CEOs of major Saudi and European corporations.
Several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed during the event. These encompassed various sectors, including machinery, equipment, culture, entrepreneurship, education, training, energy, water, wastewater treatment, and modern food technology.
The forum served as a platform for discussions on a wide array of topics. These encompassed the transition to clean energy, zero-neutrality industries, Saudi Arabia's natural resources, transportation, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, supply chains, tourism, culture, sports, small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurship, industry, technology, biotechnology, digital economy, and artificial intelligence (AI).
