Riyadh, September 13, 2023, The Saudi Export Development Authority (SAUDI EXPORTS) coordinated the "Made in Saudi" Saudi Trade Mission to the United States of America, which took place on September 12, 2023, in New York City. This mission was part of the authority's ongoing attempts to expand Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports and was based on its role in supporting exporters and manufacturers, encouraging Saudi goods, and improving Saudi products' ability to compete on global markets. The Saudi trade mission to the USA included more than 24 Saudi companies and more than 100 American companies from the food, packaging, communications and information technology, transport, and logistics sectors. Its goals were to expand economic and trade ties between the two countries and look for new opportunities for cooperation that would help local products and services gain access to the American market. The Saudi and American parties signed agreements and memoranda of understanding during the expedition, which also included a number of bilateral talks and business matchmaking meetings.
