Saudi Extreme E off-road racing series begins in Jeddah

Jeddah, Feb 17, 2024, The fourth annual "Extreme E" all-electric sport-utility vehicle (SUV) off-road racing series, organized by the Saudi Arabian Cycling Federation under the auspices of the Ministry of Sport, is set to kick off in Jeddah this Saturday. The event will see the participation of eight two-racer teams.

Having debuted in AlUla in 2021, followed by successive editions in NEOM in 2022 and 2023, the competition now returns to Saudi Arabia for its latest installment.

Reflecting on this significant occasion, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Faisal, President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, expressed his delight at hosting the prestigious event in the Kingdom for the fourth consecutive year. He noted that the opportunity to organize such an esteemed international racing event in Saudi Arabia is a testament to the unwavering support of the country's leadership and the diligent efforts of the Ministry of Sport.
