New York, September 19, 2023, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah represented Saudi Arabia at a ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United Kingdom on Monday in New York City. The British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs, James Cleverly, met with his Gulf Collaboration Council counterparts to examine regional and international events and measures to improve collaboration and coordination. They reaffirmed their commitment to bolstering joint Gulf-UK efforts to help their people's hopes for peace and prosperity come true.
Both Director-General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood and Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Rassi were present at the meeting.
