Rio de Janeiro, November 19, 2024 – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, held a meeting with Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the strong bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Singapore and explored opportunities to deepen cooperation across various sectors. They also exchanged views on key regional and international issues of mutual interest, reflecting the shared commitment of both nations to addressing global challenges and fostering partnerships.
The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening ties to enhance collaboration in areas critical to both countries’ economic and strategic goals. Topics ranged from trade and investment to initiatives that promote regional stability and development.
Abdulrahman Aldawood, Director General of the Office of the Foreign Minister, was also present at the meeting, underscoring the high-level engagement and importance of the discussions in advancing Saudi-Singapore relations.
