Saudi Foreign Minister Meets with Korean Foreign Minister

Saudi and Korean Foreign Ministers discussed enhancing partnerships across various sectors and strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

New York, September 28, 2024, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Republic of Korea Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul today met on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly session in New York City.


 The two ministers explored ways to enhance the Saudi-Korean partnership across various fields, and to intensify bilateral and multilateral coordination on numerous issues of mutual interest. They also discussed developments in the regional and international arenas, along with the efforts made in these areas.


 The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil.
